For 28 consecutive years the Academy settled as the  most historic and established education institution of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO).

Τhe Academy enjoys a reputation as the primary destination for scholarship in public law within Europe’s dynamic setting.

The Academy offers 3-week summer study sessions for those interested in furthering their knowledge on the philosophical backdrop of different European national public law systems, as well as on their commonalities and differences. Students may obtain a Certificate of Attendance for one session, or, an Intensive International Master of Laws (I.I.LL.M.) in European Public Law, a diploma level degree, following the attendance of two sessions and the defense of a dissertation.

The Academy 2024 Session will run with taught courses ON PREMISE.

Program 2024

The program this year is composed of two intensive teaching sessions, with 2 general courses and 2 special courses, a “meet – the-experts” session, a guest lecture, a field visit, cultural events and the participation to the Annual conference of the esteemed European Group of Public Law.

This summer’s study session will take place from August 26 to September 14, 2024.

Intensive modules

Third session Week III Dates: 08-14 September, 2023 
Includes one Field Trip, a Day-off for preparation of Thesis, meet-up-with-the-experts’ sessions and the participation to the EGPL Reunion. Among the Experts, Members of the Curatorium and of the EGPL are included. 

Special Course (B), morning session 10:00—13:00 

Thematic: “Digitalization and Public Administration/Smart cities” 

Special Course (C), afternoon sessions 14:00—17:00 

  • Ton van den Brink, Full professor and Jean Monnet professor of EU legislative studies at Utrecht University 

    Thematic: “Balancing Unity and Diversity in EU legislation” 
  • EGPL REUNION Dates: September 13 – 14: Participation in the Annual Reunion of the European Group of Public Law is required for the in-situ/on-premise participants. 

Admission Requirements

  1. Complete Application form.
  2. Payment of non-refundable application fee of 50€ and a scanned copy of the payment receipt.
  3. Current CV, preferably in Europass Format.
  4. Evidence of Current Studies or Current Employment in digital format (scanned copy).
  5. A Letter of Recommendation (for I.I.LL.M program only, scanned copy).

  2. Complete the online application form.
  3. Upload all supportive documents when prompted in the form and submit your application.

Tuition fees

Summer 2024

  1. The In situ program is offered at 1350€.

  2. Τhe Online Program is offered at 1000€

  3. Early Bird applications will remain open until May 30, 2024 (€1000) for the Certificate On Premise Program. For the Early Bird tuition fees will be paid as follows: 50% up to May 30, 2024 and the other half up to June 28, 2024.

  4. The IILLM program is offered at 2500€
